Throughout my career and personal life, countless number of people have said ‘Dave is a natural coach’.   I practice the art of socratic questioning combined with giving input to people’s ideas.  While I don’t place emphasis on the critical turning points in my own life and career, they do allow me to resonate and connect with my clients.  I see myself as a mentor. I have mentored hundreds of people over the last 15 years, helping them make significant, positive changes in their lives.

I know how difficult it can be at times to ‘recalibrate’ after a significant life event or make lasting changes in your life. An untimely death, becoming a parent or other life-altering events or spiritually transformative experiences can really put someone off their stride. Many people feel overwhelmed and don’t know where to start. Other people know where to start but are overwhelmed by the prospect of the journey ahead. And some people simply need to be told what to do and have someone to hold them accountable.  In any of these cases, I can help.

In addition, I know how to build, lead and develop teams.  I also know how to design, develop and implement processes that support business objectives.  I combined these two aspects in my own 15 year career by taking all my revenue-generating client-facing experience into learning and development functions.  Instilling a culture of investing in people while simultaneously improving business operations to increase profitability and growth was a key objective for me.

In an economy becoming ever more global, I started Enlightened Leadership Consulting in order to be able to focus more time on helping individuals and smaller, more community-spirited organizations.  I still operate in multi-national corporations but now have the ability to help both sides of the spectrum benefit from practices from the other side. And why ‘Enlightened’ Leadership Consulting ? – I’ll give you the full story when we start working with each other…
